  1. Heard a song just last night while eating at an Applebees restaurant. The songs playing were pop/rock/adult contemporary types.
This song reminded me of Matt Nathanson, Joshua Radin, Eric Hutchinson, etc... in style, but the defining characteristic was a horn section that was continuous throughout the song, playing a steady and repetitive series of one-beat bursts/accents. Near the end of the song, there was a mariachi-style solo by the horns.

Can you help me identify it!?

    1. I didn't see Josh Rouse mentioned, and his style is similar to a lot of the artists you listed. My main guess would be "Marvin Gaye" by Josh Rouse, but it could also be either "I Will Live On Islands" or "Lemon Tree". If it's none of those, I'm not sure what it could be.

    2. The closest from that list was "I Will Live on Islands," but there was a VERY distinct, punchy horn section throughout the song.

  3. Hello, I was just in Lowes on Sunday between 11am and 1pm, December 7th and I heard some song that sounded kind of 80s 90s feel good movie ending type songs. It was a male singer and I have no lyrics unfortunately, just have the way the song sounds stuck in my head. I know that around the time the song played, I also heard "Everybody Wants to Rule the World". I just need to know the songs playing around that timeframe and I can look them all up and see which is the song that's haunting me. Thanks in advance
